COVID-19 Protocol

  • The presence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) required the Snow Team to introduce new training and operational procedures to protect team members’ and their families’ health.
  • These new procedures include:
    • Acquiring and distributing personal protective equipment (PPE);
    • Installing hand washing stations and incorporating social distancing measures;
    • Creating a virtual training platform for our administrative and technical team members; 
    • Spreading out our deployment staging by adding a fifth site where team members will report for a mobilization; and we are splitting each 12-hour shift into two sections, to reduce the number of people at each deployment site at one time; and
    • Sanitizing snow vehicles before and after each shift is on duty.
