The presence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) required the Snow Team to introduce new training and operational procedures to protect team members’ and their families’ health.
These new procedures include:
Acquiring and distributing personal protective equipment (PPE);
Installing hand washing stations and incorporating social distancing measures;
Creating a virtual training platform for our administrative and technical team members;
Spreading out our deployment staging by adding a fifth site where team members will report for a mobilization; and we are splitting each 12-hour shift into two sections, to reduce the number of people at each deployment site at one time; and
Sanitizing snow vehicles before and after each shift is on duty.
